18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

7 When the wicked dies, his hope will perish, and the expectation of wealth perishes too. 8 The righteous is delivered from trouble, and the wicked walks into it instead.

13 Even in laughter the heart may ache, and the end of joy may be grief.
